Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living

IVCIL is a non-profit advocacy and service organization serving people with disabilities in the counties of LaSalle, Bureau, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark.
As a community-based, nonresidential center for independent living, we work to increase the involvement of persons with disabilities in every aspect of life. We strive to enhance the potential of persons with disabilities to achieve and sustain self-directed living situations in home or community settings, depending on their individual choices. Services are provided on a cross-disability and cross-cultural basis.
The mission of the Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living is to enlighten persons with disabilities and their families about their rights; to empower persons with disabilities to assume maximum responsibility to realize their potential; and to enrich the lives of all in Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark counties by working toward full inclusion of each individual in our communities.
