Steinberg's was founded in 1888 by our great grandfather, I.L. Steinberg. Steinberg’s Furniture is the Illinois Valley’s oldest family owned furniture store under continuous local ownership. From humble beginnings peddling merchandise with a horse and wagon, our store has evolved into a modern showroom that showcases the area’s largest selection of furniture and mattresses. Under the stewardship of 4th generation family members Bruce and Bonnie Steinberg, and Leslie Ruda, and a dedicated staff of experienced employees, we pride ourselves on our 135 year commitment to personalized customer service.
